What personal information do we collect from children on our website?

We only receive and store personal information that children enter on our Web site. We do not receive or store any information automatically when children interact with us. Because we limit the ordering of our products to those age eighteen and older, we do not collect home addresses or shipping information from children under eighteen. We only request a child's name and E-mail address to permit the use of certain features of our Web site, as set out in more detail below.

How does Out of the Box use the personal information we collect from children?

Out of the Box Publishing uses E-mail information to contact children only to communicate company and product news (if a child signs up to receive such information) or respond to questions and game idea submissions (if a child submits a question or game idea). Out of the Box Publishing does not disclose personal information to third parties, except in very limited circumstances (see Legal and Privacy Notices). In addition, Out of the Box Publishing allows all users, including children, to register for and use the MyCard program by entering a name and an E-mail address. This information is used only to allow registered users to enter the MyCard program to make their own APPLES TO APPLES expansion sets and to send periodic E-mail communications on the features and updates of the MyCard program. Children may use personal information on individual APPLES TO APPLES cards they create, some of which the children may decide to put in the public domain area of MyCard. Out of the Box Publishing does not use such information for any purposes whatsoever, although any other MyCard user may use any card in the public domain database. Children are asked to provide an E-mail address of their parent(s) or guardian(s) so that Out of the Box Publishing may permit the parent or guardian to deliver the MyCard password directly to the child—we do not provide passwords directly to children.

Limiting Access to Personal Information

We strive to collect only that amount of information necessary to respond to children's requests or to allow children to use the various features of www.otb-games.com. If you or your child wishes to limit our access to personal information, you may simply choose not to provide it. We work hard to protect any personal information children do provide to Out of the Box Publishing.
