Harry’s Grand Slam Baseball Game is a new Card game from Out Of The Box. A quick and fun game for two players that recreates the great American pastime known as baseball. Grand Slam is a two-player game, where each player is his or her teams’ “manager.” The object of the game is to finish all 9 innings with a higher score than the other team.

The game comes with plenty of components, including cards, a baseball diamond, and a 3-section scoreboard that allows you to tally the scores for the visiting and home teams, as well as which inning.

Players begin play with three cards each, with one in the field, and one at bat. At the bottom of the inning, these roles change. Each card represents a baseball play. For example, a card could be a Walk, Single, Stolen Base, Strike Out, Triple, etc. After each card is played, a new card is drawn to maintain a 3-card hand. The top of each inning has the visitors at the plate, and the bottom, the home team. At the start of his turn, the Visiting Team plays the first card. Hopefully, this will be a card that will help them score runs. However, even if their cards that result in an Out, a card must be played. The Home Team player than plays the next card. Here, the Home Team is looking to play cards that result in Outs, but if he only has cards that benefit the other team, a card must be played. This process is repeated until the Home Team can score three outs on the Visitors. Play goes to the bottom of the inning where the Home Team is at the plate looking to score, and the Visitors are looking to get the visiting team out. After the third and sixth innings, all cards are collected and shuffled.

Harry’s Grand Slam certainly has that antiquated love affair America has for baseball. While Baseball has been with us for many years, Harry’s Grand Slam certainly has a nostalgic feel for older players, while keeping the game fast and fun for younger players.

In conclusion,
Here is a great pastime for card game and baseball fans alike. Kids and adults will have hours of fun with this game. Its also an enjoyable game parents can play with their kids, which seems to be an ever growing rarity these days.
